Things that Frustrate Me [23 Dec 2009|06:14pm] stray Now, I like going with my Dad to the hospital. I get to learn a lot of stuff. However, I HATE it when he puts me on the spot with another physician. He'll be talking with someone on the phone and then will go, "Hey, I've got someone for you to talk to!" and then hand the phone to me. Pisses me off. Because 9/10 times, I do not know the physician and know them only by reputation. Further, then my Dad will go on to say, "I want my son to do a rotation with you..." Not that I was consulted in any form on this decision regarding my learning experience. I know he feels he is doing a lot for me. I know I can learn a lot through it. But I just really, really wish he'd ask me rather than pimping me out. I know he's proud of me and wants to show it. But I want the choice. 1 comment|post comment
